We pride ourselves in developing reports that describe complicated concepts in simple terms. Our reports are specifically designed to explain emergency services concepts to the general public.

  • Stuart McCutcheon is a Principal with Dynamix Consulting Group. He began his fire service career in 2005 and has almost 20 years of experience. He served in six different fire departments in Florida and held the ranks of Fire Fighter, Lieutenant, Assistant Chief, Fire Marshal, Emergency Manager and Fire Chief. Stuart served as the Fire Chief in the cities of Davenport, Auburndale, and Haines City.

    Stuart brings a unique combination of education, experience, and technical expertise to Dynamix Consulting Group. Having worked in both combination and career fire departments, he possesses a demonstrated record of professionalism and a commitment to excellence. In addition to fire administration and management accomplishments, Stuart has substantially contributed to the Institution of Fire Engineers and Florida State Fire College through the development of GIS analytic tools and maps to support the missions of both organizations. Stuart is a contributing writer the recently released 2nd Edition of the IFSTA’s Public Information Officer .

  • Jeremy Holmes has more than 23 years of experience in the fire service, serving in all ranks, with the most recent appointment of Fire Chief in 2018. Jeremy is a lifelong resident of Covington, Georgia and serves his community in multiple ways. He serves on the Executive Board of Georgia Mutual Aid Group (GMAG), a peer assessor, and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children. He has helped develop strategic plans, budgetary recommendations, staffing studies, and policy and procedure manuals, and standard of covers. Holmes was the keynote speaker for the International Society of Fire Service Instructors, and has lectured at Virginia Fire Chief’s Conference, Georgia Fire Chief’s Executive Conference, Firehouse Conference, Center for Public Safety Excellence Conference, Georgia Government Finance Officers, and many others.

    Jeremy has an integral role in the design and implementation of strategic plans, including budgetary plans and staffing. Jeremy is also very knowledgeable in policies and procedures, specializing in Employment Law.

  • David Schmidt has more than 30 years’ experience. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Fire Chief for the South Elgin Fire Protection District (IL). Assistant Chief Schmidt previous served as the Fire Chief for the Town of Carrboro (NC), and the Fire Chief of the Elgin Fire Department (IL). He has served in multiple positions within the Elgin Fire Department including Firefighter/Paramedic, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief of Operations and Fire Chief.

    Chief Schmidt is a seasoned, results-oriented and multi-faceted with a record highlighted by successful relationships with businesses, residential groups and City departments. Proven experience in defining and achieving organizational program goals. Adept at developing and implementing innovative management, public safety and education initiatives and policies/programs that enhance overall Fire Safety and City operations. Successful experience combining fire prevention, suppression, EMS, administration and progressive growth in a growing City. His involvements include Operational Enhancement, Directing Personnel, Staff & Program Development, Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, Budgeting/Forecasting, Emergency Preparedness, Subordinate Supervision and Liaison Communication.

    Chief Schmidt has been involved in data analytics since 2000 and Geographic Information Systems

    (GIS) since 2004. Projects include: fire station placement with GIS, the modification of apparatus

    responses with GIS and utilization of data to increase ROSC rates in cardiac arrest victims.
